Mr. Teo's buddy Mr. B suggested to bring his mum to Hatyai and he ask Mr. Teo and another friend Mr. A to go along. So Mr. B brought two kids, wife, his mum and two aunties; Mr. A brought his wife and son; while Mr. Teo brought me, two kids, maid, Sister, Uncle, Mother and two cousin IL, total of 19 person.
We set off from hometown at 8am on 4th December 2014 (Thursday). We reached our hotel,Golden Crown Plaza at 10.30 pm on the same day. We stopped by Bidor for lunch, and Padang Besar for dinner.
5th Dec, we went to temple for praying, market for shopping and floating market.
6th Dec, we went to big pasar for shopping and market nearby Lee Garden at night.
7th Dec we went to Homepro (something like Ikea), Tesco Lotus (for some local snacks) and Central Festival (shopping mall) to enjoy the christmas decoration at the entrance of the mall.
8th Dec, we set off from hotel at 11.30pm and reached home at 2am (9th Dec)
Despite the long journey of this road trip, i didn't really enjoy this trip, because i couldn't go for their famous massage, and i didn't have chance to enjoy the street food because we were brought to restaurants by their friends who stayed in Hatyai. Besides, the clothes sold here is much more expensive and not as nice as the one sold in Bangkok. So i didn't manage to buy a lot of clothes for my kids this round.
The only good thing about Hatyai is the Zebra brand pots and pans are really cheap, about half price different from the one i bought in hometown.
I think i still prefer Bangkok.
